Leadership Development Coaching
Leaders face ever-increasing pressures, hyper-speed change, and an ever evolving and often uncertain landscape. This makes it more important than ever for leaders to have a solid leadership foundation grounded in self-awareness and self-management, the fundamentals of emotional intelligence. The best leaders understand that ‘what got them here won’t get them there’ and thus invest in the ongoing growth and development of their leadership skills. Insightful leaders fully understand and embrace what gets them excited, what makes them jump out of bed in the morning eager and excited for the workday. There is congruence between what they spend their time doing e.g. work tasks and what truly motivates them e.g. what they love to do. Understanding what drives behaviors results in increased engagement, productivity and ultimately profitability. By enhancing emotional intelligence, and developing a clearer, richer understanding of what is truly motivating leaders are able to create a high-performance climate for their organization through enhancing personal effectiveness in work and as a leader.
This is a 9-month Leadership Development program. The program includes exploration, clarification and leverage of strong motivators and strengthening/developing emotional intelligence competencies. The 9-month Leadership Program includes education, valid assessments, and leadership development coaching.
Through engagement in The Leadership Program participants create and are able to articulate a clear and powerful vision, analyze current competencies and identify the competencies they wish to develop further. Participants also have a richer grasp of what they are motivated by and learn strategies to leverage their interests, passions and strengths. Participants, with support from their coach, will determine the steps to implement the changes sought with the goal of enhancing leadership impact, management effectiveness and professional growth. Freshwater Leadership provides the necessary tools and support that guide the desired growth and development.
